Malco Tools, one of the nation’s leading solution developers and manufacturers of a variety of high-quality tools for the HVAC and building construction trades, today announced that Jeff Widdel has been promoted to director of engineering and operations.
Widdel, who has been with the company since 2022, is now responsible for overseeing and aligning the company’s engineering, quality, plant operations, logistics, and supply chain teams. Widdel will focus on optimizing internal processes, improving efficiencies, fostering innovation, and driving operational excellence, ensuring that teams are well-positioned to continue delivering high-quality products to Malco’s customers and end-users.

Widdel brings over 20 years of engineering and operations experience to Malco, including strategic management roles at leading industrial companies, and has a proven track record of operations leadership in continuous improvement, product development and strategy deployment. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn. and a Bachelor of Science degree from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
