I have been using these and similar pliers for 10 years

This style of lineman's pliers are specifically for building chain link fence. The thickest wire your going to cut with them is going to be 9 gauge. Unless you put the wire in the cutters, place them on the ground and stomp the handles together. That dulls them real quick. I have been using these and similar pliers for the past ten years and they work great.

Great Pliers

I've had these so far about seven months and they've been great. I really like the center cutters, although they could go for some heavier gauge cutters. 9 gauge is a tight fit.

Tougher than nails...solid, dependable product worth it's weight in gold, hard steel...wish they came in day-glo colors baked on finish so they'd be harder to lose out on the range/in the field!-)
